- Product: WDN: Wipe Directory Names
-
- Description:
- Typically an empty directory takes up 2048 or 4096 bytes of
- disk space. This seeks out and removes hidden & unused
- directories with one command. After making copies of floppies
- by copying them to a temporary directory on the hard drive you
- will delete or wipe the files using Norton's Wipefile for
- example. A directory "tree" is left behind, requiring you to
- use DOS's RD command, and type in every name. RD leaves a
- remnant of the old directory name on the disk, with only its
- 1st character removed.
