  4.   Typically an empty directory takes up 2048 or 4096 bytes of
  5.   disk space. This seeks out and removes hidden & unused
  6.   directories with one command. After making copies of floppies
  7.   by copying them to a temporary directory on the hard drive you
  8.   will delete or wipe the files using Norton's Wipefile for
  9.   example. A directory "tree" is left behind, requiring you to
  10.   use DOS's RD command, and type in every name. RD leaves a
  11.   remnant of the old directory name on the disk, with only its
  12.   1st character removed.
